Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous TV shows. Her family was from Northern Virginia and is the middle daughter from two siblings. She is the middle sister of two sisters and was brought up within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada launched her television career by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada's role on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for Best Actress at a film festival. She's appeared in TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recent appearances included the action-science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 when she was cast member of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic healing.
